How much does the program cost?

The cost of the program for the academic year 2017-2018 for an in-state student is approximately $5,124.96; the cost for out-of-state students is approximately $12,312.60. This does not include the cost of books/cases or course materials.

If you are enrolled as a graduate student in any of the UNC system schools, you can take these classes for the same tuition as your program. You can see the full list of courses on the UNC Online website.

Are scholarships or other financial aid available?

Federal financial aid in the form of unsubsidized loans may be available if you are taking the Business Foundations Certificate program at the same time you are matriculating in another graduate program at UNCW.

Students enrolling in the Business Foundations Certificate program in order to complete the pre-requisites for the professional MBA or international MBA programs may be eligible for non-federal loans. Please contact your Financial Aid Counselor for additional information.

How long will it take me to earn the Business Foundations Certificate?

The flexible format of the Business Foundations Certificate allows students to complete the program at their convenience. Each course takes place over a 7-week span with offerings in the spring, summer I, summer II and fall semesters.

When do the classes meet?

Classes are online, via Blackboard Course Management System.
