This course helps outline the most popular types of qualified retirement plans available to investors. Specifically, attendees will gain a better understanding of Profit Sharing Defined Contribution Plans, 401(k) Plans, Traditional Defined Benefit Plans and Cash Balance Plans. Course completion results in 2 CPE credits.

Dina L. Hamad: Ms. Hamad graduated from North Carolina State University in 1985 with a Degree in Accounting and Business Management. She began her career in qualified retirement plan administration with Hutchison & Associates in Raleigh, NC. She worked in the retirement plan industry for Wachovia Bank and for the local office of Dun & Bradstreet Pension Services prior to co-founding Retirement Plan Services, Inc. in 1992. Retirement Plan Services, Inc. provides full service retirement plan administration and consulting services for over 275 clients. Ms. Hamad, with over 25 years of experience in the retirement plan industry, offers numerous client, financial advisor, CPA and attorney presentations on retirement plan topics. She is active in the Raleigh and Cary Chambers, American Society of Pension Actuaries and the Triangle Benefits Forum.

Mike Lanio: Mike brings 25 years of industry experience with a wide and varied background to his role at Guardian Investor Services. With a unique ability to simplify complex ideas and present them in a clear and
compelling manner, Mike has built working relationships that go
far beyond providing financial products. Mike’s mission is to offer
proven retirement solutions for a wide range of qualified plans
including 401(k), profit sharing and defined benefit plans that are
designed especially for the needs of business owners and their
employees. He also specializes in helping financial advisors find
opportunities to grow their practice.
