Art of Negotiating
Overview/Cost
Learn the tools and techniques necessary to develop a sound negotiating strategy. Position yourself confidently to reach successful results by learning to deal with conflict, competing interests, intimidation and commonly performed tactics. Using real world case studies, class members will analyze opponents' positions and arguments while building their own.
Cost for the course is $380 and includes all course materials as well as a UNCW parking pass.
Instructor
Barb Biehner
Ms. Biehner joined the university as the Director of External Programs for the Cameron School of Business in 2006 following an extensive career in health care administration with over 25 years as the COO or CEO of hospitals as well as Senior Vice President of a specialty pharmaceutical company. Along with the capacity of Executive in Residence she is a member of the Cameron Executive Network and the Resume Assistance Program. Ms. Biehner currently serves as the program director for the Swain Center for Business and Economic Services.
